    • His wife had died the year before and he died while visiting a daughter. Weather caused transportation problems resulted in him not being buried in the Shimimicas cemetery as was his wife. The Webb property was previously owned by George Thompson, Land Grant Map no. 69, # 1663, on the left side of the Oxford-Amherst road about a quarter mile from the church.
