  	Obituary MacCALLUM, EARL JAMES - July 27, 1924 - January 24, 2010 - Mr. Earl James MacCallum passed away peacefully at his late residence at Miramichi Senior Citizens Home (Veterans Wing) at the age of 85. He is survived by his family: Neil (Lillian), Sandra (Marven King), Wayne (Louise), Dale (Bonnie), Donna (Hazen Smallwood), Cathy (Phillip Connolly), brothers, Bill and Allan, and one sister, Annie. He was cherished by 17 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. He will be lovingly remembered by his caregivers. He was predeceased by his wife Marvel Scott (June 2004), daughters: Betty Ann and Elora, son: Weldon and several grandchildren and great grandchildren, brothers: Ivan, Walter, Hiram, Leonard and Don, sisters: Eva and Martha. Earl served his country with the Air Force Regime in Halifax and Labrador. Later he was a local contractor and businessman for many years. He was a Christian by Faith. Visitation will be held at Davidson's Funeral Home, 597 Old King George Hwy, Miramichi on Tuesday from 7 to 9 and on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. The Funeral Service will be held from Davidson's Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday at 2 pm officiated by Eric Morton and Eric Lockhart. Interment will be at Pine Grove Cemetery later in the spring.
