      MUNDLEVILLE, N.B. - The death of Susan J. STEPHENS of Mundleville, N.B., occurred Tuesday, Sept. 19, 2000, at the Stella Maris Hospital. She was 49 years of age. Born in Sackville, N.B., she was a daughter of Ivy Stright of Baysfield, N.B. and the late Marjorie (Lirette) Stright. Susan was a school teacher for over 28 years. She was an adherent of the St. Andrew's United Church, Rexton. She was a member of the UCW; NBTA Branch No. 1640; past member of the NBTA Board of Directors; former Student Council Advisor at Bonar Law Memorial School; member of the scholarship committee and worked with other organizations within the school. Besides her father, she is survived by her husband, Gordon; a daughter, Sandra and a son, Jason, both at home; sisters, Sheila Stright of Amherst and Sally Degraff of Ingarsoll, Ont.; brothers Ron of Sackville, N.B.; Terry of Ingersoll and Cecil of Kentville, N.S. The remains rested at Thompson's Funeral Home, Richibucto with visitation Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. as well as Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral services was held 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 23 at St. Andrew's United Church, with Rev. Beth Johnston officiating. Donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Canadian Diabetes Association and would be appreciated by the family.
