Obituary
BENNETT, Eileen Joyce - 64, Pugwash, Cumberland Co., passed away October 24, 2006, at home. Born in Northport, she was a daughter of the late Judson and Annie Trenholm. Eileen had worked for Knol's Farm in Oxford and from 1982-1986 worked at Beaton's Nursing Home, West Pugwash. Surviving are her daughters, Brenda Lee (Ernie) Dugan, Wallace; Joyce Anne Bennett, Pugwash; Shirley Bennett (Donnie), Pugwash; Shelley Bennett (Eddie), Tatamagouche; sons, Robert (Juanita) Bennett, Amherst; Curtis (Belinda) Bennett, Pugwash; 23 grandchildren; sister, Jean Pye, Pugwash; several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Raymond Leo "Manny" Bennett; children, Cindy and Kevin in infancy; brother, Floyd Trenholm; sisters, Marie Trenholm and Judy Jackson. Visitation will be held from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday, October 26, in Mundle's Funeral Home, 204 Water St., Pugwash (243-2506), where the funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday. Burial in Palmerston Cemetery, Pugwash. Donations in memory may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association or Canadian Cancer Society. Condolences may be e-mailed to: mundlesfh@ns.sympatico.ca
