  	Obituary AMHERST - Mrs. Alfred Trenholm, 89, of Amherst, died Wednesday inLockhart's Nursing Home. Born in East Amherst, she was the former Helen Louise Atkinson, daughterof the late Edgar and Ida (Embree) Atkinson. She was a resident of Lockhart's Nursing Home for five years and aninvalid for 27 years. She was an active member of the Women's MissionarySociety and the UCW of Trinity-St. Stephen's United Church, Amherst, whichshe attended. Surviving are four sons, Gordon, St. Catharines, Ont.; Aubrey, Amherst;Carmen, Burlington, Ont.; Gerald, Fort Lawrence; a sister, Greta (Mrs.Courtney Lusby), West Amherst; 18 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, a daughter, Frances, a sister,Florence and a brother Russell. The body is at Campbell's Funeral Home, Amherst, where funeral andcommittal service will be Saturday at 2 p.m., Rev. Donald Linkletterofficiating. Entombment will be in Amherst cemetery receiving vault withburial in Point De Bute, N.B. in the spring. Donations may be made to any charity.
