  	Obituary: Sackville Tribune, Monday, April 25, 1921 AGED CITIZEN OF PORT ELGIN PASSED AWAY Mr. David G. Field Died After Few Days' Illness at Advanced Age of 78 After an illness of a few days -- although he had been in poor health for some months -- ther e passed away at his home in Port Elgin, N. B., one of the oldest residents of the village, D avid G. Field. The late Mr. Field was well known throughout the county having spent the greater part of hi s lifetime in Port Elgin. He was aged 78 years 5 months. Universal regret will be expresse d by the residents of the county, especially the older citizens. He leaves besides his wife, two sons, Doctor Burton R. Field, of Centreville, Carleton Co., a nd Ernest L. Field, of Bloomfield, Carleton Co., also one daughter, Lola M. at home. Three b rothers also survive, John, of Princeton, Maine; Samuel, of St. Andrews, and Job, of Shemogue , N.B. Also one sister, Mrs. Tingley, of Massachusetts. The funeral was held from the home , Friday afternoon at 2:30 to Fernwood Cemetary.
