    Douglas Carter Oulton ( 1898 - 1917 ),son of Robert K Oulton and Bertha M Wells, joined the 145th Overseas Battalion of the Canadian Expeditionary Forces on 25 Feb 1916. He was assigned to the 5th Canadian Mounted Rifles Battalion and died 1 Nov 1917, possibly as result of the Battle of Passchendaele.
