Obituary
Wilbert Mattinson, well known farmer of Mt. Pleasant, passed away at his home on Jan. 18, after an illness of 6 months. Â The late Mr. Mattinson would have been 81 years old if he had lived until Jan 29. Â He was born at Mt. Pleasant, a son of the late Francis Mattinson and Nancy (Fahey) Mattinson. Â The funeral was held Friday afternoon at

Mr. Pauley spoke comforting words to the bereaved.  The funeral was largely attended.  The pallbearers were Curry Thompson, Royal Simpson, John McDonald, Minor Mattinson, Orland Fraser, Lewis Thornthwaite.  Burial took place in the family lot at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
