    • Bona-vol.2,p.674-b.yr;he never married. He was seigneur and founder of Cobequid. His title of seigneur of the fife was obtained in 1689 on the Wecobequitk River(Cobequid). It was given to him because he was the first born in Acadia among the French of the country. When he died aroun 1733, Governor Armstrong contested the clauses of his will because he had shown hostilities toward the English rulers.
