West Springfield, Mass. - Ronald W. Arnott, 71, passed away on January 4, 2014 after complications from several strokes. He was born, raised and lived in Boston most of his life. Ronald served in the US Army, stationed in Germany in the 1960's. He grew up playing hockey, baseball and basketball. Through-out his life he was known by ALL for his GREAT sense of humor and charisma, that is already missed. Father of two children, grandfather of two grandsons, brother of Carole and partner to Carol. He is preceeded in death by his father Walter Brookings (KIA in WWII), biological mother Mary (Murphy), brother Jimmy and adoptive mother, Mary Arnott and her other 8 children. He will be buried in Massachusetts Veterans' Memorial Cemetery, Agawam, MA.
