"Frank and Arthur Teed who joined their friends at the Dorchester carnival in 1878, costumed respectively as a Boot Black and a Deck of Cards, became well known in their professions. Doctor John Francis (Frank) Teed, who attended the Jefferson Med Institute in Philadelphia, practiced first in Moncton and later in his home town. In time he became the chief medical officer at the federal penitentiary, a position he held for over twenty years. He was twice married, first to Daisy Weldon, the mo of his three children; and second to Ada Palmer, both of Dorchester. Doctor Teed's sons Ralph and Francis bore the names of their paternal ancestors, the noted Siddall brothers who came to Aulac with the Yorkshiremen."
