Name Francois Doiron Born 1738 Nappan Gender Male Residence Bef 1809 Nappan [1] Residence 1809 New Brunswick [1] in Nappan, Nova Scotia and petitioned for land - In 1809, Francois Doiron, along with his sons, Urbain, Isidore and Francois, and his nephews, Simon and David Doiron, sent a petition to the government of New Brunswick to apply for 400 acres of land each along the route leading from Petitcodiac (St Anselme) to Shediac. The surveyor, James Watson, of Westmorland County vouched that he knew the men to be "industrious men" for twenty some years.
