OULTON, Charles Byron 1907 - 2011 Byron Oulton passed away on January 20, 2011 at the age of 103 years. He was predeceased by his wife, Rachel and daughter, Christine. Byron is survived by his son, Alan (Joy); grandchildren; great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Byron was loved by all his family and will always be remembered. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, February 5, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Andrew's United Church, 9915 - 148 Street, Edmonton. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Society. FL- Byron and Rachael live in Edmonton. They are very gracious people liv ing at 102 Surrey Gardens, Edmonton, Alberta T5T 1Z3, Phone 481-3574 . It was this couple that gave us all of the information sent to the m by William Oulton. It was hand written and copied so we hope the in formation is correct and that we interpreted the writting correctly.
Dec 10, 1998 I called Byron to see if they new were the Oulton twins , sons of William Oulton, had moved. Rachael recognized me immediatel y. She said that the one boy Jack Oulton had moved to the family hom e in Christina Lake. However he has a drinking problem and is not t o be trusted. Bill Oulton the twin brother had moved to Kamloops an d is more responsible. The mother of the twins is the nursing home an d Grand Forks, British Columbia and is not expected to live long. Sh e has altimers.
Dec 10, 1998 I talked to Jack (John)Oulton 1-250-447-9343 of Christin a Lake. He said he would be happy to let me go through the files an d copy what i wanted. He said however that he would like to go throug h the files and take out the junk before I came. I told him I would c all again in January.
I also tried to call W.A.(Bill) Oulton in Kamloops but there was no a nswer. Phone 1-250-573-3273 or cell 1-250-319-2219.
Talked with Jack (John Alexander Oulton) of Christina Lake becaus e I wanted to identify the William OUlton that was his father. Appare ntly I do not have his father in file. The father is William Brown Ou lton-the wife Irene Mary Middleton and the twin boys John Alexander a nd William Allen. As of this date Jan1, 1999 Irene is in a nursing ho me and is not able to communicate at all. John things his fathers fat her was Bedford Oulton.
