He arrived in Saint Malo, France on the 'La Reine d'Espagne' the 17 Nov 1758, with his sons, Gabriel and Jean-Baptiste, and his daug,Marie, who was the widow of Charles Samson. His second wife, Anne Samson, and his children, Louis, Anne and Charles, died at sea. His son, Gabriel, died at Saint Malo the 23 Nov 1758.
