- Mr. Samuel Oulton, age 92 years is dead. He was one of a family of nine, six sons and three daughters, only three of whom survive him, viz. Mrs. James Oulton, Moncton, Winkworth Oulton and Mrs. Ralph Siddall. His family consisted of four children, two of whom survive him, viz. Job Oulton and Mrs. Jane Dobson. His wife died about four years ago and since then he has lived with his son Job. His funeral, conducted by Rev. Mr. Patterson, took place Sunday afternoon, his remains being interred in Point de Bute Methodist cemetery. Through his long life he had been an industrious farmer, and over half a century has been a member of the Methodist church.
