Obituary
Craig Charles Murray Mr. Craig Charles Murray of 456 Sunnyside Ave, Miramichi, passed away suddenly Saturday morning at the age of 46. Born in Newcastle, he was the son of Lee and Darlene (Harding) Murray. He was a Mechanical Technologist for Northumberland Co-op. He was a member of St Andrew's United Church, Tabusintac, member of Newcastle Lions Club and a member of Miramichi ATV Club. Besides his parents Lee and Darlene, he is survived by one daughter Erica Murray of Miramichi; three sisters, Marilyn Ward (Robert) of Neguac, Dawn Murray (Gaetan) of Neguac, Lenore Godin (Andre) of Neguac, one brother, Lloyd (Angela) of Tabusintac, former wife, Claudette Murray of Pointe-a-Bouleau, aunts, uncles, nieces, Emily Allain, Christine LeClair, Fanny Basque, nephews, Kyle Ward, Jared Ward, Alex Allain and Keith Basque, godson, Ricky Robertson. Mr. Craig Charles Murray rested at St Andrew's United Church, Tabusintac, with visitation on Monday August 17th, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm. The Funeral Service was held Tuesday August 18th, 2009 at 2 pm from St Andrew's United Church, Tabusintac, with Rev. J.D. Kennedy officiating. Pianist Debbie Robichaud, organist was Robyn MacCallum, and guitarist Arthur Strang, Mark Palmer and Ed Stefanyk led the church choir in "By the River's of Babylon" and "Surely Goodness and Mercy". Soloist Arthur Strand rendered "I'm going to love you forever". An honor guard was formed by members of the Newcastle Lions Club. Burial followed in Riverside Cemetery. At the request of the family donations to St Andrew's United Church, Newcastle Lions Club, Canadian Diabetes Association or a memorial of ones choice would be appreciated. Active Pallbearers were: Shawn Briggs, Calvin McLeod, Bradley Murray, Evan Palmer, Joel Robichaud and Shane Ross. Honorary Pallbearers were: Earl Ross, Peter MacEachern, Archie Cooper, Dean Strang, Cody McLeod, Dale Harding, Roger Savoie, Craig MacArthur, Donnie Robertson, Stanley MacDonald, Shannon Savoy, Clay Murray and Ricky Robertson.
