Perley Cedric Crossman, husband of Jennie Crossman, of Dieppe passed away at The Moncton Hospital on Tuesday, May 15, 2007. Born in Woodhurst, NB. on September 30, 1913, he was the son of the late Perry and Harriet (McFadden) Crossman. Perley was a Veteran of the Second World War; he attended Highfield Baptist Church, and retired from Atlantic Wholesalers following more than 30 years of service. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Jennie (Oulton); daughters, Alberta Doucette (Richard), Ethel Durant (late Mike); son, Rick (Nancy); seven grandchildren, Vickey (Jim), Barbara (Alcide), Pamela (Jeff), Sacha, Kristina (Curtis), Michelle, Andy; 10 great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren; and his only sister, Ina Cawdle as well as many nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he was predeceased by three brothers, Reg, Seldon and Curtis. Resting at Fair Haven Funeral Home with visitation on Friday, May 18th, from 7 to 9 pm. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 O'clock on Saturday, May 19th, 2007 in the chapel of Fair Haven Funeral Home. A reception will follow the service in the Garden View Reception Room. Interment in Fairhaven Memorial Gardens. Memorial donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke foundation, the Canadian Diabetes association or a memorial of your choice.
