  Notes	Note: Bona Arsenault had this Joseph Terriot (s/o Claude Terriot & Marie Gauterot) married to Marguerite Melanson (vol.3,p.1294) but Stephen White has an explanatory note under the family of Germain Theriot and Anne Richard where he concludes that it was Germain and Anne's son, Joseph, who married Marguerite Melanson. He bases his conclusion on the fact that the godparents of the children of Joseph and Marguerite were brothers, sisters and in-laws of the Joseph in Germain Theriot's family.
