OULTON - Mrs. Helen Mary Oulton passed away peacefully at the Bow View Manor in Calgary on November 27,1 997 just days after her 89th birthday. Mary is survived by two sisters, Patricia Armstrong, lately of Calgary, formerly of Windermere, B.C., and Audrey Whetham of Victoria, B.C. Also left to mourn are numerous nephews and nieces and their families. Mary was predeceased by her husband, Les, her parents Florence and William Harris and her brother Bev Harris. Mary was born in Killarney, Manitoba on November 24, 1908 and moved to Calgary at a young age. She and Les spent many happy years in the Windermere Valley, at Columbia Lake, as well as at Nanoose Bay on Vancouver Island. A Memorial Service will be held at LEYDEN'S "Chapel of Remembrance" (17 Avenue and 2 Street S.W.) on Thursday, December 4, 1997 at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Robert Taylor officiating. The family wishes to express their deepest gratitude to the dedicated staff on the Beaverbrook and Crowfoot Wings of the Bow View Manor. If friends so desire, in lieu of flowers, memorial tributes may be made directly to the Alzheimer's Society of Calgary (1920 - 11 Street S.E., T2G 3G2).
