  	believe it should be Tuesday 3 Oct 1899. Newspaper clippng: At Northport, Tuesday, Merritt Oulton went out in his punt to bring in his boat which was anchored in an exposed position. After reaching the boat it was swamped and the young man drowned. He was a young man of good habits and character. He was about 22 years old and unmarried.
