Doris Jean Dealy 1940 - 2003 Doris Jean Dealy, of Moncton,NB passed away at The Moncton Hospital on Wednesday, November 26, 2003 at the age of 63 years. Born in Campbellton, NB on February 5, 1940 she was the daughter of Ethel Frances (Price) Brooks of Moncton and the late Edward Brooks. She was a member of St. Paul's United Church. Doris was the organizer of the Stroke Survivors Support group in the greater Moncton area, based out of the Moncton hospital in the early 1990's, which she earned a volunteer recognition award given by the association of community services in Riverview. She was also a great inspiration with the Stroke Support group in the Campbellton area. Besides her mother she is survived by her husband Warren "Bevis" Dealy, of Lefurgey special care home, Moncton; daughters Deborah and her husband Nigel Bayliss of Riverview and Donna of Moncton; brothers William and his wife Cynthia of Amherst; Rodney and his wife kay of Edmonton, AB; and Wayne and his wife Aline of Riverview. At her request there will be no visitation at the funeral home. The memorial service will be held at The Riverview Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, November 29, 2003 at 2:00 pm with Rev. Steve Berube Officiating. Interment will be in Alderwood Cemetery. In Doris's memory, donations made to The Heart and Stroke Foundation of New Brunswick or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
