Alice C. Morrell 1917-2005 Mrs. Alice C. Morrell of Moncton, passed away on Monday, November 7th, 2005, at Camden Park Terrace, Moncton. Born in Gaythorne, NB, she was the daughter of the late Richard and Estella (Brown) Palmer. She was a retired Registered Nurse, a graduate of Moncton Hospital Training School. She was later employed as an occupational nurse and an employment supervisor at Eaton's Catalogue House and as an Instructor at N.B.C.C. She was a member of Glad Tidings Pentecostal Church, and a former Superintendent of Glad Tidings' Sunday School. She was a life member of The Moncton Hospital Nurses' Auxiliary, a former member of N.B.A.R.N., a member of the Nurses' Alumnae, a member of the Y.W.C.A. Board of Directors, a President of the Soroptimist International Service Club of Moncton, and a member of the Board of Directors of the Drew Nursing Home in Sackville. She is survived by one daughter, Carol, of Saskatoon; and various cousins, nieces, and nephews in Canada and the United States. She was predeceased by her husband of fifty-eight years, John A. (Jack) Morrell; a sister, Ruby; and two brothers, Cleve, of Fredericton and William, of South Weymouth, Mass. There will be no visitation prior to the memorial service, which will be held in the Chapel of Fair Haven Funeral Home on Thursday, November 10th, 2005, at 2:00 p.m. A reception will follow the service in the Garden View Room. Interment in Fairhaven Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the memorial of your choice would be appreciated.
