      Mr. William C. Harding, of 2807 King George Hwy., Miramichi, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 7, 2001 at his late residence.
      Born in Tabusintac, he was the son of the late John and Maria (Price) Harding. He was a retired truck driver, and a member of United Church of Canada.
      He is survived by two daughters: Paula Anne Savoie (Allard), of Russellville; Phyllis (William Underhill), of Miramichi; four sisters: Isabel Johnstone, of Miramichi; Hilma Russell, of Miramichi; Stella Savage (Bernie), of Russellville; Ina Campbell (Tom) of Russellville; one brother, Frank (Janice), of Russellville; five grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
      He was predeceased by his wife Hazel Irene (Whyte) Harding; his parents; one sister, Ellen Hickey; three brothers: Elmer, Don, and Wallace.
      Mr William C. Harding rested at Davidson's Funeral Home, 597 Old King George Hwy., Miramichi, with visitation on Thursday, from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9. the funeral service was held Friday, Feb. 9, at 11 a.m. from Davidson's funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Cecil Symes officiating. Burial in Stymiest Cemetery, Tabusintac in the spring. Organist and soloist was Jacqueline Allain who rendered In the Garden, The Old Rugged Cross, and Jesus Loves Me. At the request of the family, donations to Red Cross Society would be appreciated.
