WARD, FRANK MAJOR born on Sept. 14, 1921 passed away peacefully on Nov. 18, 2007 at the age of 86 with his loving wife and family by his side.
Frank is survived by his wife Doris (nee Melnechuk); six children; 16 grandchildren; and one great grandchild, all of whom brought him great joy and amusement. Also survived by his twin sister Frances Jean Keenan and his nephew William McFadden, both of Moncton, N.B.; his niece Gertrude (Weldon) Pacholzuk of Penticton, B.C.; as well as numerous other family and friends.
Frank was born in Rockport, N.B., the son of Frank and Clarissa Ward. He served four years in World War II with the 14th Field Ambulance Corps. He was employed by the CPR in Calgary for 34 years, then retired to Kelowna, B.C.
In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer that a donation be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
