      Thelma Joyce O’Neill
      June 13, 1939 - February 28, 2008

      AMHERST - Thelma Joyce O’Neill age 68, of Amherst passed away Thursday, Feb. 28, 2008, at Cumberland Regional Health Care Centre, Upper Nappan, N.S. with her family by her side.
      Born in Lorneville, she was a daughter of the late Robert and Susie (Oulton) Greeno.
      Thelma was employed through the Nova Scotia Liquor Commission working at the stores in Amherst and Pugwash. She enjoyed bowling, playing cards, crafts and spending time at the cottage. She attended the Immanuel United Church, Amherst and while at her cottage in Linden she attended the Renwick United Church.
      Thelma is survived by her husband Ron, one son Jeff of Dartmouth, one sister Roberta (Peter) Lynch of Utah, USA., several aunts, uncles and cousins.
      She is predeceased by one daughter Vicki Lynn in 1989.Her remains will rest at Campbell’s Funeral Home, 98 Church St., Amherst with visiting on Saturday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Sunday, March 2, 2008, at 2 p.m. from Campbell’s Chapel with Rev. Margie Patterson and Rev. Steve Longmoore officiating. Interment will take place in the Lorneville Cemetery in the spring.
      Donations in Thelma’s memory may be made to the charity of your choice.
