  	Obituary A large circle of friends throughout Cumberland will regret to learn of the death of C.G. STRANG, the well known merchant of Tidnish Bridge. Mr. Strang has been a sufferer from Bright's disease for some time but no immediate danger was anticipated with regard to his condition and he was about attending to his business as usual until last Saturday when he took to his bed. He passed away last evening and the funeral will take place tomorrow afternoon at two o'clock. The deceased is survived by his wife and one son, and two daughters. The late Mr. Strang at the time of his death was in the fifty fourth year of his age. He was a moderate Conservative in politics and a member of the Methodist Church. The deceased was highly respected by all who knew him and his death will be sincerely mourned by a large circle of friends.
