    • The 'Post' contains some particulars of the drowning accident in the Tidnish river (West. Co.) on Monday last by which a young man named James BRUNDAGE lost his life. He was on a raft fishing for smelts with an elderly man named George STRANG. They were standing on the end of the raft pulling in their net and the force of the current capsized their frail craft. Mr. Strang saved himself by clinging to a piece of timber, but his companion sank, though only about twenty yards from the shore. The body was found the same afternoon. Mr. Brundage leaves a wife and two children.
