  	Obituary Mrs. Barbara Irene Smith [October 11, 1948 - September 8, 2007 not in online version] Barbara Irene Smith age 58, of Shinimicas, Cumberland Co., N.S. passed away Saturday, September 8, 2007 at the Moncton Hospital, Moncton, N.B. surrounded by her family. Born in Amherst, she was a daughter of the late Ronald and Myrtle (Doyle) Baxter. Barb worked as secretary in several Amherst schools and most recently West Highlands School on Hickman Street in Amherst. She enjoyed a variety of puzzles and arts and crafts, especially cross-stitch. Barb is survived by her husband Arnold Jr., son Scott of Pinawa, Manitoba and daughter Tricia Smith of Vermilion, Alberta, sisters Linda (Layton) Finley of Truemanville, Charlene Baxter (Ian Swantee) of River John and Gayle (Greg) Gillespie of Halifax County, brother Eugene (Elsie) Baxter of Amherst Head and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. in Campbell's Funeral Home, 98 Church St., Amherst (667-9906) Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 12, 2007 at 2 p.m. from Campbell's Chapel with Rev. Steven Longmoore officiating. Interment will take place in the Shinimicas Cemetery. Family flowers only. Donations in Barb's memory may be made to the Shinimicas Cemetery Fund, the Amherst Head United Church, West Highlands School Library Fund, Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia or the charity of your choice. www.campbells-amherst.ca
