      Gornall Arseneau, 1939-2021
Gornall Arseneau, 82, of Moncton, passed away on Saturday July 3, 2021 at his residence. Born in River Hebert, NS, he was the son of the late Albert and Erma (Burbine) Arseneau.
Prior to his retirement, Gornall was a local truck driver. He was an animal lover, especially of horses, a passion he shared with his father. He loved classic cars and trucks, and he and Lisette loved going to classic car shows. He was a hard working man, always willing to help anyone in need.  He had a huge heart and would move mountains for his wife and daughter.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Lisette née Jaillet; one daughter, Lynn Arseneau (Cris Best) of Kennetcook, NS; four sisters: Carolyn Wilson (Richard), Ruth Poplar, Cathy Arseneau, all of River Hebert, NS, and Anne Arsenault (Eddie) of Amherst, NS; one brother, Reginald (Linda) of Dieppe; as well as several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858-1900) where the funeral service will be celebrated on Friday July 16 at 4 pm. Visiting hours are Friday from 3 pm until time of funeral. Due to the pandemic, face coverings are required and a maximum participation of 100 people at a time with social distancing regulations are in effect. Interment will be at Our Lady of Calvary cemetery, Dieppe. In memory of Gornall, a contribution to the Parkinson Society or the Greater Moncton SPCA would be appreciated.
