      Alma J. Dobson1933Miss Alma J. Dobson, an aged and highly esteemed resident of Jolicure,passed away at her home on Sunday, November 19th.While the deceased had been in failing health for several years, shewas able to be around until a week before her death.She was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Caleb Dobson, and issurvived by two sisters, Mrs. W.H. Oulton of Sackville, and Cliffie, whowas at home with her, also one brother, Edgar, with whom she lived.There was a large attendance at her funeral, which was held from herhome on Tuesday afternoon.The funeral was conducted by Rev. Carl M. Mack, pastor of the UnitedChurch of which the deceased was a member, and was assisted by Rev. H.M. McGibbon, Baptist minister. The choir sang the hymn "Abide With Me"and joined in the chorus of "The Old Rugged Cross", which was renderedas a duet by Mrs. Carl Mack and Dr. G.W. Burton. The final hymn was"Shall We Gather at the River." The pallbearers were Bent and AustinDobson (nephew), Beverly Irvin and Claude McKim. Interment was in thePoint de Bute cemetery. There were many beautiful floral tributes.
