  	OBITUARY The death of Mrs. Annie Sophie CHAPMAN, wife of Hazen Chapman of Chapman Settlement, occurred this morning at an early hour after an illness extending over a period of three years. The deceased was well known and highly esteemed in the community in which she lived, and took an active interest in church and local affairs when her health permitted. She was a member of the Ladies Aid, and of fine Christian character. The late Mrs. Chapman, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles E. Oulton of Lorneville, was 63 years of age. She is survived by her husband, one son, Carmen at home, and three daughters, Hilda, a member of the Amherst teaching Staff, Nova, teacher at Chapman Settlement, and Reta at home, who cared for her mother during her illness. There also survive one sister, Mrs. Burton Cloney of Edmonton, Alberta, and two brothers, Charles E. Oulton of Baie Verte and Ellsworth Oulton of Framingham, Mass. The remains are resting at Furlong's Funeral Home. Funeral arrangements have not been completed, pending weather and road conditions.
