- Steve Bryant determined which house they lived in from info given in the 1940 USA Census. He had visited them in that house quite a few times with his parents when he was a child. He said the house was horseshoe shaped, had a barn right behind it and a had a tower. This address fits the description and is also near Bow Road, which is where the census taker went next. Emma was still living in this house in 1970 and for a number of years afterwards. Someone in the town government knows the house and its current owners and has said that is the only house it could be. It is known as the Tower House in Northwood.
