Dr. C.P. Connell of Woodstock died Thursday after a long illness in the 54th year of his age. Deceased was the s/o late Hon. Chas. Connell, a prominent figure in the Government of N.B. prior to Confederation and represented Carleton in the House of Commons for two years. He was also a brother of Geo. H. Connell who died at Ottawa while a representative in Parliament. The funeral took place Sunday. - [S183] Archives: George Parkin Papers.
