Obituary
SACKVILLE, N.B.- Connie Bowser, age 78, of Kingwood Manor in Sackville, N.B. and formerly of Point de Bute, N.B., passed away at the Sackville Memorial Hospital on Saturday, February 14, 2004, after a lengthy illness and she is now at peace. Born in Yarmouth, N.S. on August 1, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Archie and Eliza Horton. Connie was a member of St. Mark's Anglican Church in Mt. Whatley, N.B. and was a member of the A.C.W. Connie is survived by her children, Elizabeth (Robert) Bowser of Jolicure, N.B. and Gerald (Paulette) Swimm of Mt. Whatley, N.B.; grandchildren, April (Tory) Ryan, Mark (April) Bowser, Denise (Jay) Sears and Graham (Paulette) Bowser; she also adored her six great grandchildren, Benjamin and Nicole Ryan, Tomas and Trent Bowser and Morgan and Ria Sears. She was predeceased by her second husband, Earl J. Bowser in 2001; sister, Hilda Chapman in 2002; first husband, Robie W. Swimm in 1964 and her parents, Archie and Eliza Horton. Arrangements are entrusted to Campbell's Funeral Home, 89 Bridge Street, Sackville, N.B. (364-8188). Cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation by request of the family. A private family service is planned to honor her memory with a grave side committal in the spring. In lieu of flowers, donations in Connie's memory may be made to St. Mark's Anglican Church in Mt. Whatley, N.B. or to the charity of one's choice.
