  	Obituary Ronald F. Allen The death of Ronald F. Allen occurred at his Baie Verte home on Sunday evening, February 17, at the age of 65. Born in Baie Verte, he was a son of Mamie (Oulton) and the late Wilson Allen. A lumberman and sawmill operator, he was the leader of the family band and operator of Allen's Sleigh Rides and Farm Vacations. He was a member of the Port Elgin Rotary Club, Amherst Boat Club, N.B. Federation of Agriculture and the Baie Verte United Church. He was a director of the N.B. Board of Tourism. Surviving, in addition to his mother, are his wife Olive (Goodwin) Allen, both of Baie Verte; four sons, Gary and Austin of Baie Verte, Carl of Sackville, Brian of Charlottetown; two daughters, Mrs. Kevin Patterson (Marjorie) and Mrs. Christopher Kean (Dorothy), both of Point de Bute. Two brothers, Lyman and Garnet of Moncton; two sisters, Mrs. David Booth (hazel) of London, Ont. and Mrs. Allison Cusack (Pauline) of Moncton; 14 grandchildren, seven step grandchildren and two step great grandchildren also survive. The body is resting at Jones Funeral Home, Port Elgin, until Thursday, when it will be taken to St. James United Church, Baie Verte, where funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Interment will be in Fernwood cemetery, Port Elgin, in the spring.
