Clairice "Hopper" Doiron
1938-2020
Clairice "Hopper" Doiron, 82, passed away on Tuesday October 27, 2020, at home surrounded by his loving family. Born in Cap-Pelé, he was the son of the late Oswald and Rita (LeBlanc) Doiron.
He is survived by three daughters: Murielle Goguen (Émile) of St. André, Linda Goguen (Normand) of Haute-Aboujagane and Nicole Landry (Rodney Doucet) of Shediac; one son, Georges (Linda) of Portage; four sisters: Géralda Doiron (Philippe), Janita Burke (late Alfred), Bernice Landry (late Roméo) and Rosella Leger (Roger) all of Cap-Pelé; two brothers: Ovila (Prémilia) of Grand-Barachois and Gérald (Rolande) of Cap-Pelé; one son in-law, Russel Landry of Portage; one sister in-law, Marie Doiron-Leger of Moncton; six grandchildren: Joël, Joline, Mathieu, Mélanie, Jessica and Justin; eight great-grandchildren: Britney, Alex, Jasmine, Alissa, Dom, Miguel, Jonathan and Samuel, as well as many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his wife, Florine; one brother, Claude.
A private funeral mass will be celebrated at Ste-Thérèse-d’Avila R.C. Church, 2646 Acadie Road, Cap-Pelé, Friday October 30, 2020. Interment will be in the St-Thérèse d’Avila cemetery, Cap-Pelé. The funeral mass will be videotaped and will be available on his obituary on our Website by the end of the day.
In memory of Clairice, a contribution to the CHU Dumont Foundation (oncology) would be appreciated.
Cremation and funeral arrangements are under the professional care of Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, Shediac (532-3297).
