Obituary
TRACY, M. CURTIS - M. Curtis Tracy of Riverview and formerly of the Miramichi, passed away at the Moncton Hospital on Tuesday May 10, 2011. Curtis was born in Moncton, the son of the late Fred and Annie (Tingley) Tracy. He was a decorated War Veteran of WWII, a member of the Royal Canadian Legion #10, Miramichi, NB, member of Northumberland Lodge #17 F&AM., Miramichi, member of Perceptory Lodge, having completed 32 degrees, Moncton, also he was a member of the Order of Eastern Star, Miramichi and Riverview. He worked for British American Oil, Gulf Oil for over 32 years, most of it being in the Miramichi. Mum and dad did some travelling outside of visiting family all spread over the country. He was great with puttering and fixing things, they also loved camping for years with their friends and later at the cottage. He will be sadly missed by daughters; Patricia Geikie (Harold), Trenton, ON, Audrey Tait (Bob), Charlottetown, PEI, Deborah Wood (Randy), Logan Lake, BC, Barbara Fennuik (Jack), Kamloops, BC, sons; Ken, Mississauga, ON, Alan, Hamilton, ON, Bill (Dorothy) of Miramichi, grandchildren; Joanne Geikie, David Geikie (Patti), Robert Tait (Stephanie), Lori Wakelin (Bob), Jennifer Tracy, Tim Tracy, Brian Tracy (Kelly), Tom Tracy, Sabrina Cattlemole, Christopher Wood (Tara), Jayme and Madison Fennuik, great grandchildren; Jack, Ethan, Aidan, Lily, Jessica, Justin, Courtney, Seth, Aaron, Radia and Reilly as well as several nieces and nephews. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family and was predeceased by his wife Lillian, a son, Darrell, brothers; Gerald in infancy, Donald, Vincent and a sister Gertrude Clark.
The family will be receiving relatives and friends at Cobb’s Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 330 Whitepine Road, Riverview (869-2007) on Tuesday, June 28th from 1:00 PM until the time of the memorial service at 2:00 PM from the funeral home chapel, a private family interment will take place at the Hopewell Hill Cemetery.
