  Notes	According to Stephen White, Jean Blanchard's parents were not Guillaume Blanchard and Huguette Poirier as per Bona Arsenault's vol2, p.431. Stephen says that "Jean LeBlanc's deposition at Belle-Ile-en-Mer led Rameau de Saint-Pere to add a non-existant generation to the genealogy of the Blanchards. LeBlanc declared that the great-grandparents ofhis wife Francoise Blanchard were Guillaume Blanchard and Huguette Poirier, rather than Jean Blanchard and Radegonde Lambert, having confused the names of Martin Blanchard's brother and sister-in-law with those of his father and mother".
