  	Obituary 1915 - 2010 - Blair Allen Tingley, age 94 years, of Forest Dale Nursing Home in Riverside Albert and formerly of Lower Coverdale, passed away at his residence on Sunday, April 11, 2010. Born in Chester, NB on December 31, 1915 he was the son of the late John and Edith (Deeves) Tingley. Blair was a veteran of World War II. He retired from General Motors in Moncton in 1974. He will be sadly missed by his children Janet Tingley of Toronto, John Tingley (Denise) of Hopewell Cape, Elizabeth "Libby" Tingley of Toronto, and Bruce Tingley (Tanya) of Riverview; also by his loving grandchildren Blair, Jordy, Jade and Emily. Predeceased by his cherished wife Mimie (Matthews) Tingley; brother Cecil Tingley; sisters Mildred Teed and Hilda Williamson. There will be no visitation at the funeral home. A memorial service will be held at Riverview Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, April 14th, 2010 at 2:00pm with Pastor Paul Steeves officiating. Interment in Wilmot Cemetery. Special thanks to the staff and management of the Forest Dale nursing home for their special care and compassion given to our father during his recent illness. In memory of Blair, donations made to the Forest Dale Home Women's Auxiliary (5836 King Street, Riverside Albert, NB E4H 4B9), N.B chapter of the Canadian Cancer Society, or charity of the donor's choice.
