Obituary
Olive Marie (Nelson) Kyle 1910 - 2003 Olive Marie Kyle, 93, of Kenneth Spencer Memorial Home, formerly of Riverview, passed away peacefully on April 2, 2003 at the residence. Olive was born on February 19, 1910 in Lower Cape, NB. She was the daughter of the late Percival and Eleanor (Tingley) Nelson. Olive was a Registered Nurse and also worked at the Municipal Tax Office. She was a member of St. Paul's United Church, Riverview and a Life Member of St. Paul's U. C. W. She was a Past Matron of Winston Churchill Chapter #19 Order of the Eastern Star and was a Life Member of the New Brunswick Hospital Auxiliaries Association as well as a member of The Moncton Hospital Alumni. Olive was a very special lady who had made many friends throughout her life but loved her family, above all things. She was a very caring and kind lady who always had a smile for those she met. Granny Kyle was an excellent storyteller and always found time to relate these tales to her grandchildren. Olive was a beloved mother, grandmother and sister. She will be deeply missed by her two sons, Dean (Audrey) Kyle of Victoria and Paul (Kathleen) Kyle of Edgett's Landing; daughter, Eleanor (Sydney) Butland of Riverview; a sister, Eda Constantine of Fredericton Junction; a brother, Blair (Erna) Nelson of Hopewell Cape; eight grandchildren, Dan (Diane) Kyle, Mackenzie (Laura) Kyle, Brent Kyle, Beth (Reynold) Kyle, Heather (Allan) McKinley, Susan (Jeff) Steeves, Vanessa (Peter) Kyle and Paul (Sarah) Butland; and nine great grandchildren, Jonathan, Matthew, Kyleen, Gabriel, Ian, Mady, Anthony, Aidan and Nicolas. Olive will also be sadly missed by several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents she is predeceased by her husband, Donald; two sisters, Elsie and Helen; four brothers, Guerney, Ronald, Ralph and Raymond. The remains will be resting at the Albert County Funeral Home with visitation on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held at The Albert County Funeral Home on Saturday, April 5, 2003 at 2:30 pm with Rev. Steve Berube officiating. The internment will be held in the Mountain View Cemetery, Lower Cape, NB at a later date. Following the service the family will be meeting with relatives and friends for further fellowship and refreshments at the funeral home. Donations to the charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated by the family. Arrangements are in the care of the Albert County Funeral Home, Hopewell Cape, 506-734-2780 www.albertcountyfh.com
