Minnie Albertine Edgett AMHERST, NS - Minnie Albertine Edgett age 102, of Victoria Manor, Amherst, 81 Havelock St, Amherst, and formerly of Edgetts Landing, NB., passed away Sunday, March 7, 2004 at the All Saints Hospital, Springhill, NS. Born in Edgetts Landing, NB., she was a daughter of the late James and Annie (West) Edgett. She is survived by her nieces, Margaret (Ken) Fage of Amherst, NS., Neva Ward of Kentville, NS.; and her nephew, Bob (Marilyn) White of Windsor, NS.; as well as, several grandnieces and grandnephews. Minnie spent her entire life caring for others. Her kindness and love will be greatly missed. Minnie is the last surviving member of her immediate family. In addition to her parents, Minnie was predeceased by three sisters, Evelyn Tingley and Lottie White of Amherst, NS, Gertrude Steeves of Edgett's Landing, NB; and her brother, Bill of Boston. Resting at Campbell's Funeral Home, 98 Church Street, Amherst (902667-9906) with visiting on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 9, 2004 at 2 pm from First Baptist Church, Amherst with Rev. Byron Corkum officiating. Interment will take place in spring in the Amherst Cemetery.
