    Notes
    • Discrepancy: The article 'Un brin d'histoire de Ménoudie, Nappan et Maccan' in the Mars 1967 edition of La Société Historique Acadienne, page 125, gives the marriage of Marguerite to Paul Caissie of Tracadie and says that Marguerite returned to settle in Bas Cap Pelé after being widowed in 1831. However the book, La Famille Caissie on page78 and 191 gives Hyppolyte dit Paul Caissie s/o Etienne & Francoise Mazerolle marrying 14Aug1815 to Marguerite Comeau d/o Charles Comeau & Marguerite Roy. After being widowed, Marguerite marries Olivier Doiron who is a witness at his step-daughter's (Veronique) marriage in Barachois in 1835.-note by A.Owen
