Hopewell Hill (Albert Co.) Jan. 24 - Thomas TINGLEY, Germantown Lake, one of the oldest residents of the county, died last Saturday at the age of about 86 years. The deceased was one of a large family of brothers, all of whom attained great age and were remarkable for their hardihood and endurance. All of the deceased brothers except one were octogenarians and three surviving brothers, Samuel TINGLEY, David TINGLEY and Agreen TINGLEY, are all in the vicinity of 80. Josiah TINGLEY of Hopewell, who died a few years ago in his 88th year, was a brother of the deceased. Mr. Tingley's wife was a Miss CHAPMAN of Westmorland, who with two sons, Bliss TINGLEY and Chapman TINGLEY, survive him. The funeral took place Sunday afternoon at the Germantown burial ground.
