Obituary
Amherst, June 21 - Samuel Edward FREEMAN, one of Cumberland's oldest Justices of the Peace, died at his home, Joggins Mines, this morning. The body will be brought to Amherst for burial in the old family burying ground, on Tuesday afternoon. His widow, who was formerly Miss Ruth OULTON, of Westmoreland Point, survives him.
