Léo Cormier
1929-2015
Léo Cormier, 86, of Manoir Pascale Poirier Shediac, formerly of Dupuis Corner passed away on Friday November 13th, 2015. Born in Haute Aboujagane on April 7th, 1929, he was the son of the late Calixte and Yvonne (Vienneau) Cormier.
He will be sadly missed by his wife of 63 years, Diana (Landry) Cormier; two daughters: Odette Cormier (Lina Cormier) of Shediac and Bernice Melanson (Bernie Gallant) of Grand-Barachois; six sons: Alcide of Dupuis Corner, Yvon (Suzanne), Léo Jr (Lisa Allain) both of Shediac, Ronald (late Stella) of Moncton, Roger (Nicole) of Dieppe, and Maurice (Annie Landry) of Shediac Bridge; a brother: Laurie (Aline) of Scoudouc; grandchildren: Jolyne, Jessica, Jeffery, Ricky, Jeniffer, Dawn, Isabelle, Jean-Marc, Nathalie, Justin, Megan; great grandchildren: Jordan, Zoé, Kyla, Damien, Olivia.
He was predeceased by his sister: Alvida Bourque and a brother: Camille.
Family will receive condolences at the  Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 396 Main Street, Shediac 532-3297) from where the funeral service will be celebrated on Monday November 16th at 2 pm. Visitation Monday will be from 1pm till time of funeral. Burial will be in the Ste. Thérèse d’Avila cemetery in Cap-Pelé.
In memory of Léo, a contribution to a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated.
Cremation and funeral arrangements are under the direction of Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, Shediac (532-3297).
