    • On page 49, family 188, Margaret, age given as 20 years, is found with her six siblings. The image of Page 48 with her parents at the bottom of the page is missing on ancestry.com.

In the original 1891 census document, Philip and Catherine Burk appear at the bottom of page 48 as family #188. Their seven children appear at the top of page 49 as a continuation of family #188.

PROBLEM: On ancestry.com, in the 1891 Canada Census, there are two pages missing from the census surrounding the family of Philip and Catherine Burke. These are the images of pages 48 and 50.
Ancestry.com is showing page 47 immediately followed by page 49 (the number is difficult to decipher on this page).
Page 47 has families 178 (a continuation from page 46) to 182 (the start of the Gray family). Page 49 has families 188 (a continuation of the Burk family from page 48) to 199 (the start of the Boyce family). On ancestry.com, because page 47 is followed erroneously by page 49, and the seven Burk children of Philip and Catherine Burk are at the top of page 49, it gives the appearance that the seven Burk children are part of the Gray family. Note also that ancestry.com has the 'Burk' surname indexed as 'Bark' for the Burk children. - comment by A.Owen Dec 2,2009.
