Census 1861 the Parish of Shediac, Westmorland County, New Brunswick [7, 8] - Pelagie's name is spelled 'Pegagie' on the Kanner transcription of the 1861 census. However, a look at the entry on the microfilm reel shows that her name is spelled 'Pelagie'. She is found with her second husband and nine of her children.
