    • The marriage of Miss Anne Bertha Copp, daughter of William M. Copp and the late Mrs. Copp, Newcastle, N.B. and Harold Sturat Lowerison, Saint John, son of Mr & Mrs Harry S. Lowerison, Newcastle was an interesting event in St Andrews Church there yesterday at 11 o'clock when Ven Archdeacon Thomas Parker officiated.
      The church was decorated by friends of the bride with summer flowers and the altor vases contained long-stemmed roses white roses. Miss Mona Linden presided at the organ and rekndered special nuptial selections. The bride entered the church with her father to the strains of the wedding hymn, "The Voice That Breathed O'er Eden." During the signing of the register, the choir sang "O Perfect Love." The recessional was Mendelssohn's Wedding March.
      The bride wore a slipper lenght gown of floral chiffon in dusky rose shade..Her hat and gloves were of pale blue, and she wore a silver slippers, and carried a bouquet of pink roses. gypsophila and maidenhair fern. The couple were unattended.
      After the ceremony, a reception was held for the immediate families of the bride and groom, and later Mr. and Mrs. Lowerison left on a short wedding trip to points of interest in Nova Scotia. For traveling the bride wore a shark-skin suit in natural and luggage tan shades, with hat, shoes and bag to match. On their return Mr. and Mrs Lowerison will reside in Saint JOhn, where the groom is associated with Porter and Ritchie, barristers.
      The bride has been until recently on the teaching staff of Harkins Academy, Newcastle. She is a graduate of the Provincial Normal School, Fredericton. Mr. Lowerison is a graduate of Mount Allison University, class of 1933, with honors in biology, and of the University of New Brunswick Law School, with distinction, in 1937. He was formerly instructon in the biological laboratories at Mount Allison University.
