  Married: Place of marriage was at 40 Rupurt Street in Amherst, Nova Scotia. Witnesses at their marriage were Lena Martin and Alice Boss and the Clergyman was a Baptist pastor, D Steele. Marriage certificate has the marriage date as the 22nd of November 1927. The marriage was registered on the 24th Nov 1927. The bride and groom could both read and write.
