    Alfred Vienneau
    1938-2009

    Alfred Vienneau, 70, of Cap-Pelé, passed away on Monday, April 6, 2009 at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital, Moncton. Born November 7, 1938 in Bouctouche, he was the son of the late Lionel and Oniva (Allain) Vienneau.
    Very active in his community, he was as a member of the Cap-Pelé Lions Club, Cap-Pelé Golden Age Club, past parish council member of Ste-Therèse d'Avila Church, past member of the Cap-Pelé Saint John Ambulance, former Cap-Pelé Fire Chief with 25 years service, member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 91, Cap-Pelé and member of other various organisations.
    He was the beloved husband of Vitaline (Cormier) Vienneau; the loving father of six children: Michel (Lucette) of Cap-Pelé, Denise LeBlanc (Emmanuel) of Salisbury, Ronald (Carol) of Moncton, Paul (Meryem), Janice Spence (Larry) and Denis (Donna) all of Cap-Pelé; pépère to ten grandchildren: Marc, Mathieu, Martin, Karine, Krystal, Sébastien, Danielle, Natacha, Brianna and Travis; dear brother of Adelard (Anne-Marie) of Saint-Maurice, and special uncle to many nieces and nephews.
    Resting at Funérarium Frenette, 2642 Acadie Road, Cap-Pelé (577-3297) on Tuesday, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday, from 10 a.m. until time of departure 10:50 a.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Ste-Thérèse d'Avila Roman Catholic Church, Cap-Pelé on Wednesday, April 8, 2009 at 11a.m. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.
    Memorial donations to the Palliative Care Unit of the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital or the Ste-Thérèse d'Avila Cemetery Fund would be appreciated.

    Vitaline Vienneau
    1936-2020
    It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Vitaline Vienneau, 84, of Allison, NB, formerly of Cap-Pelé, on Sunday November 8, 2020 at her residence. Born in Cap-Pelé, she was the daughter of the late Denis and Eulalie (Doiron) Cormier. She will be sadly missed
    Before her retirement, she was a schoolteacher for 35 years. She was Cap-Pelé’s first female municipal councillor, member of Saint-Jean Ambulance and the Golden Age Club, Cap-Pelé.
    She will be sadly missed by her two daughters: Denise LeBlanc (Emmanuel) of Allison, NB, and Janice Spence (Larry) of Cap-Pelé; four sons: Michel (Lucette) and Denis (Donna) all of Cap-Pelé, Ronald (Mitchel Gevaya) of Edmonton, AB, and Paul (Mereym) of Toronto, ON; one brother, Lionel (Catherine) of Bouctouche; ten grandchildren: Marc,Mathieu, Martin, Karine, Krystal, Sébastien, Brianna, Natacha,Travis and Danielle; as well as many nieces and nephews.
    Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Alfred Vienneau (2009); two sisters: Marie LeBlanc and Albina O’Brien; four brothers: Albénie, Rodolph, Adrice and Jean.
    The visiting hours and funeral mass will be held when the present challenges of Covid and travel are behind us. Interment will be in Ste-Thérèse-d’Avila cemetery, Cap-Pelé. In memory of Vitaline, a contribution to the Alzheimer Society of New Brunswick or to a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated.
    Cremation and funeral arrangements are in the professional care of Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, Shediac (532-3297).
